  • Meizu M9 ROM Ported to HTC EVO

The Meizu M9 ROM was ported to HTC EVO. Well for those who don’t know, Meizu, is a Chinese cell phone manufacturer that came to notoriety in 2007 when they tried to knockoff the original iPhone. It is sort of a failure though, but they moved on with the M9. And if you’re in the mood for flashing then click on this link and let us know if it’s better than TouchWiz.

  • The EVO’s battery doesn’t trickle charge

I am not sure if this is true, but there had been reports that Evo’s battery doesn’t trickle charge. What does trickle charging mean? Well it means that the phone continues to get its juice even after the battery is full charged, so if you’re using the phone while it’s plugged in and you do something that uses 10% of the battery, it’ll charge back to 100%.

The EVO doesn’t do this. After it’s fully charged, the charger shuts off and the EVO runs off the battery. That means that even though the battery is showing 100% on a charger, it might actually be at only 95%.

Well, you can just take it the phone off the charger once it full charged and let it sit a while. After the battery starts to drop again, plug it back in and let it charge back to 100%.
