  • Verizon soon to get HTC Droid Incredible 2 in silver

    Posted on by HTC Admin

We have received reports that Verizon will soon get tht silver version of the HTC Droid Incredible 2. The information came from the leaked pictures obtained by PocketNow. The pictures show the HTC Droid Incredible 2 in silver and despite the new color, the specs seem to remain the same as from the original. There is a 4 inch display, Android 2.3, and a single core 1GHz Qualcomm MSM8655 is under the hood.

  • HTC delays the HTC DROID Incredible Shipment till August

    Posted on by HTC Admin

The HTC has delayed the shipping date of the Droid Incredible until August 3rd, as per Verizon. This might be beneficial for Motorola, since their Motorola Droid X will be launched earlier than the HTC Droid’s shipping date. If this news is true, then there’s a big possibility that Verizon subscribers might decide on getting other phones rather than getting the HTC Droid Incredible, perhaps the Motorola Droid X?

The delay is said to be caused by the shortage of AMOLED Display, which resulted to producing not enough amount of HTC Droid Incredible. So instead of AMOLEDs, HTC Droid Incredible might use an S-LCD display. Let’s just hope that this is the last delay.

  • Verizon’s BOGO deal for HTC Droid Incredible

Here’s another offer that’s hard to resist, the Verizon’s BOGO deal for HTC Droid Incredible! Verizon is offering a Buy-One-Get-One the Incredible. It’s pretty self-explanatory: You’ll get another one for free whenever you buy a new HTC Droid Incredible. Of course, it comes with a two year contract for both HTCs.

  • Free Aria, $50 G2 and Incredible

Here’s another Black Friday Sale, A Free HTC Aria, or if you want or prefer to pay for your phone, then you can get a T-Mobile G2 or the HTC Incredible for only $50/each. Great deal isn’t it? More of like an Android Friday!

  • HTC Droid Incredible On Sale For $1

Most of the HTCs released these days will cost you a mere 200 bucks, but guess what? Best Buy on Black Friday, you can get an HTC Droid Incredible, for the low low price of 1 dollar. Cool huh? Better hurry while supplies last. This of course comes with a 2 year service agreement with Verizon. This maybe the second best offer to an HTC Surround for one cent, but it still quite an offer that’s hard to resist.

  • HTC Mecha with 4G LTE!

HTC Mecha was introduced on HTCSense.com a few weeks ago and now the phone’s 4G is being is being shown off, as seen on the photo leaked online!

The Mecha has been rumored to be heading to Verizon and branded as the Droid Incredible HD. If this is true, the 4G symbol in the notification bar would make the phone one of Verizon’s first 4G LTE devices. Unfortunately you won’t be able to get your hands onto these phones before New Year, as sources to Droid Life have confirmed that Big Red won’t be releasing any LTE phones until 2011.

  • Android 2.2 coming out soon for the HTC Droid incredible

    Posted on by HTC Admin

Great news Droid Incredible users!!  On August 27 the new Android 2.2 (froyo) will be rolling out to all Droid incredibles.  After a long wait I’m expecting all of you Droid Incredible users to be at least a little excited.  Although the date says the roll out will begin August 27 it could take up to a couple days before you actually receive the update on your handset.

So far not much is known on what the updates are supposed to enhance on the droid incredible.  We do know that its coming with 720p HD video recording, and 3G Mobile hotspot options for up to 5 devices.  Beware though, your battery will probably drain itself very quickly if you remain with the mobile hotspot on for a long time.  Verizon was also generous to add in VZ navigator but would have to pay an extra $10 if you want to utilize it.  I mean you can do all the same things with Google Maps.  Now don’t get mad if you actually don’t receive what you want tomorrow, patience is key!
