    Posted on by HTC Admin

HTC has just received its Gingerbread update, and it seems that the Gingerbread update for the HTC Desire Z will be out soon. According to our reliable source, the update will become ready for roll out in the coming weeks, which will be made available in the form of an over-the-air process. However, it might take some time for it to reach all the handset owners, but HTC is positive that it’ll permeate to every individual by the end of the month.

  • HTC Desire stuck with Froyo

HTC Desire is going to be stuck with Froyo, as  Gingerbread is not coming according to reports. HTC Inspire also runs the Android 2.2 Froyo, but the unit is quite strong when it comes to sales as there are lots of customizations available for the device such as the HTC Inspire Accessories.

HTC UK’s Facebook page says that the Android 2.3 Gingerbread is not coming to the handset. Sure HTC Desire is one of the longest-standing Android smartphones these days, but it’ sad news since lots of users are expecting the Gingerbread update. Well, i guess just like as the HTC Inspire lovers, they can just be contented with the OS, and go on with their lives. Besides, there are lots of HTC Inspire Cases available online that allows them to change the look of their device whenever they want to.

  • World of Warcraft Running on HTC Desire

WoW fans will be happy to see this video, for with HTC Desire, they can play their much loved MMORPG game, World of Warcraft, even on the go. This means, non-stop gaming, but there’s a draw back, they might not be able to socialize and live a normal life.

This video is brought to you by the video game streaming company Gamestring, which places games online where users can play them through the web browser. To clear things up, it’s not an Android app, but why ruin the fun? The important thing is that you can now gain more experience points, and get more loots while playing with your HTC Desire.

  • HTC Desire HD Running Out of Stock

There had been reports that the HTC Desire HD is running out of stock in the UK. According to TechRadar, this Android phone is either out of stock or in limited supply on all major carriers in the UK – Vodafone, Orange and T-Mobile. This is quite a no brainer due to high popular demand. This scenario happened earlier this year with the Droid Incredible and EVO 4G, so we’re not really surprised as to why this is happening. As of now, HTC hasn’t issued any comment yet, though.

Remember that HTC Bee Rumor? I guess we mentioned that a week ago. Anyway, it seems that it’s real, for dummy HTC Bee and Desire units have begun arriving at Alltel Wireless stores. This means that after a few weeks or so, these units will be available in the market. Posted on by HTC Admin

A vertical leather pouch from the brand Affinity, is available now on Best Buy’s website. It is made to fit the HTC Desire Z, and it’s now being sold even though the phone hasn’t been released yet.

Best Buy is like the place where you can find the latest and the hottest deals, and is known to made cases available for other phones prior to their release, so this is nothing new for them. It is a standard vertical case, but is described as “sleek” and “stylish.” and is being sold for $32.99.

  • HTCSense.com Now Up for HTC Desire Owners

    Posted on by HTC Admin

HTCSense.com, that was revealed at the press event on September 15th in London, is now active. It’s now active for HTC Desire HD and HTC Desire Z owners. The 2 Desire models are the only supported handsets that can take full advantage of the new service, for tracking purposes, remote wiping, or syncing their phone’s contents to the cloud.

Other HTC-made smartphone users can use it for warranty purposes, or to get some free wallpapers and ringtones. To take advantage of the full functionality, you should have a supported handset.

  • A closer look at the Desire HD

The HTC Desire HD i’d say is probably going to take over the King Evo 4G. But whats better about about the Desire HD? The phone features HTC’s newer version of Sense Ul, which gives users cool additions in the way your HTC phone is used. Some of the features were showcased in a video made by HTC, and let me tell you. Some of the features will make your head turn!

Whats so different about the Desire HD? The phone does not include a HDMI port, HTC actually decided it would leave it out because it wanted users to be able to stream music and video from your phone to your tv wire free! Yeah, HDMI would be nice but its awesome that you can stream HD videos on your TV. HTC even names the handset as magical so we’re going to have to see if they’ve used the right diction.

Other things found on the phone is a snapdragon processor and much more. We’re just going to have to wait and find out!
